Ken C. Peterson

Ken C. Peterson is a writer, actor, and producer based in Los Angeles. As a writer Ken and his writing partners’ pilot ‘Truck’d Up’ was produced by Radar Entertainment, in conjunction with Lionsgate Entertainment, and directed and starring David Arquette. El Rey Network and Vimeo are currently considering another of their single camera comedies, ‘Weedwolf’, for production. His latest short film ‘Devil In Disguise’ is currently rounding the festival circuits. As an actor Ken has been on TBS’s Frank TV, NBC’s Las Vegas, numerous national commercials, and his most recent indie film ‘Moviestar’ just received multiple awards at the 2015 Tenerife International Film Festival.

Ken received his MFA in Acting from the University of Iowa and his BA in Theatre from New Mexico State University with a minor in English. He has also studied at iO West, Second City, and with acclaimed director Anne Bogart. He is a founding member of the production company BurgessTV, a Co-Founder of the Hollywood Fringe Festival—the largest arts festival in southern California, and has also served as a professor in acting and writing at New Mexico State University.

A Los Angeles-based actor, writer, and producer, Ryan Karloff is proud to be one-third of the award-winning BurgessTV. So far it’s been a momentous year with projects in development at Radar and Lionsgate, as well as an original short film on the festival circuit. This year he also co-founded Rook Theatre, a stage company focused on devised collaborative process.

Second City and iO West round out Ryan’s comedy roots, while theatrical training hails from the studios of Stella Adler and Eric Morris. He’s worked as a clown (American-Russian Theatre) and toured the nation in combat and physical theatre (Aggravated Assault). He received his BFA in Theatre from Iowa University.

Recent film credits include starring as a troubled chef in Moviestar (Winner: “Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film,” 2015 Tenerife International Film Festival), a forlorn bandit in The Miller Prediction (Winner: “Best Picture,” 2016 LA Reel Festival), and a driven inventor in Shadow People (co-starring Judd Nelson). In his free time, Ryan writes and illustrates comic books with his twin brother.

Jon Kommes

Jon started writing at The University of Iowa (Go Hawks). Since then he’s cut his teeth at iO West. He’s written sketch, TV pilots, and short films that have been accepted and featured in several comedy festivals. He’s worked with and developed scripts for major production studios around Los Angeles, including Radar Pictures, and Lionsgate Films.

Now a three-time published playwright, his latest full length comedy/western “How The West Was Grimm” will be released by Brooklyn Publishers in early 2017.

Jon resides in Los Angeles with his wife, baby boy, and two scrappy dogs.
